Geothermal Industries is excited to announce that it has secured a new 50 borehole project in Newcastle, NSW. The new project is exciting to the team as it is the first and smallest of 3 large development projects slated for 2021/2022 in Newcastle.
Each of these projects provides a rare opportunity to utilize multiple drilling methods and applications to further enhance commercial, multi-res and residential developments. Geothermal Industries General Manager Clint Patzack states “These projects provide us the rare opportunity to incorporate a Geoexchange field into projects while significantly reducing the upfront costs associated with a standard ground loop heat exchanger. Sometimes it’s about looking outside the box and we couldn’t be more excited about the massive opportunity that lies ahead”.
Drilling on the first project is set to commence before the end of August 2021 and we look forward to providing you with further updates.
